April 13, 2018: End of Year Exhibition

Join us on Friday, April 13, in Sterling Memorial Library from 10 AM until 12 PM for a special end-of-year event. We are taking over the hallway between the Gilmore Music Library and the Center for Teaching and Learning for an exhibition of black sound archives, both real and virtual. April 12, 2018: Jason Moran

Jason Moran is one of the most celebrated and influential musicians of his generation. He has produced ten albums and six film soundtracks, including scores for Ava DuVernay’s Selma and 13th, as well as Ta-Nehisi Coates’s Between the World and Me: A Theatrical Performance which had its world premiere at the Apollo Theatre this month. Mr. Moran’s recent releases include The Armory Concert (2016), Thanksgiving at the Vanguard (2017), BANGS (2017), and MASS (Howl,; eon)

January 26, 2018: First BSAW Meeting of Spring 2018

The first meeting of the Spring semester will be held on Friday, January 26, from 10 AM -12 noon in our usual location (106 Stoeckel). Our goal for this meeting is to further discuss your ideas for the end-of-semester exhibition and to check in on your progress.
